b. How do your personal experiences, prejudices, and expectations impact your ability to objectively select the best candidates for a job or project?

One of the areas I can appreciate about my “business” self is the ability to see people for their abilities and not let personal prejudices cloud my decisions. I quickly ascertain an individual’s abilities and their aspirations of what they would like to accomplish. This information will allow me to select proper candidates for jobs and positions. This will proper seat a person a job where they are not over their head and they can contribute, which will not only provide value to the organization but will give the individual personal satisfaction. Knowing what an individual’s aspirations are will provide opportunities for growth and advancement, again giving the individual personal satisfaction and gaining the company addition talent skills.
